How do the seedings work for tennis, is it possible for anyone to go to regions or just certain seeds? and how many from each district go?

In indivduals
only the 1st seed singles and doubles can compete in the tourney

During the matches of the regular season, for 1st seeds, you are ranked 1-8th with the other 1st seeds from different schools.
In the tournament
the 8th seed plays the 1st seed
7th and 2nd
3rd and 6th
4th and 5th

Each team seeds their players. Each team has 6 players compete for singles and three pairs for doubles. So if someone says they are the #1 seed for Pound- they are the best at Pound.
As far as regions go- teams can make it to regions and all 6 seeds will play, but also people can make it individually as 1st seed singles or doubles. There is a team champion, a singles champion, and a doubles champion.
So for example Norton and Gate City could make it to regions for the teams, but J.J. Kelly's #1 could go for the individual competition if he won (or was runner up) at district.
Two teams go from district to region
